Financial Discrimination.

Because they wouldn’t block Bezos, would they?

Alright, settle in for this one.

I waltzed into Apple's website, ready to grab a few essentials - you know, just the basics. Then I hit a snag - a beautiful, absurdly frustrating snag. Every time I try to pay €12,590.85 by credit card, Apple’s system throws a hissy fit and refuses to process it.

Cool, I think maybe it’s a glitch. But no, support swoops in with the wisdom of a thousand suns to suggest that "perhaps I need more funds in my account." Really? Because, clearly, my humble balance of -€34,009.12 just isn’t enough. Guess I missed the memo about needing a positive balance in the bank for their system to function. My bad, I suppose?

Honestly, the whole thing reeks of financial discrimination. Not to be dramatic, but I’m seriously mulling over a class-action lawsuit. Because I’m sure someone like Jeff Bezos wouldn’t face these "technical difficulties." Nope. The system would roll out a red carpet for ol’ Jeff.

Anyway, did you find the part I made up?: the bug, the suggestion, or my audacity to buy essentials at €12,590.85 while swimming in overdraft? Go ahead, take your pick.
